Here
are a few excerpts from
8/10' The new patio is very nice, our 5 yr old boys
spent happy hours playing baseball and soccer in the big
backyard. They remembered jumping down the deck step when they
were three. We had excellent custard at Meadows and another
good dinner at Luigi's. Out best new discovery this year was
Toy Heaven in town, which we visited twice. Of course walking
to the playground and beach were daily joys. Thanks again for
sharing your home.

8/10' Another wonderful week here is over! Now we
have to wait another 358days to return to paradise. The new
yard is fantastic, esp the firepit! We loved every minute...
4-years down and hopefully many more to come!

10/09' Thank You so much for letting us enjoy
your beautiful home. We had such a great time. The views
are gorgeous here at Treasure Lake, especially with the
leaves changing. We hope to maybe come back for a full

10/09' Once again we had a great time. This year
we rented the pontoon boat from the Issler's Our 8 mo. old
had his first boat ride. Jake the 3yr old caught a 14in
bass. Like everyone else, we had a campfire and made
s'mores. We made many special memories! Thanks for your
gracious hospitality.

8/08' Thank You for sharing your lake home with
our family. A great house and pleasant lake. We caught
LOTS of fish! We had fun discovering all the amenities.
Helen enjoyed the kitchen, go figure! If we stayed
another week we could have enjoyed the area even more.

6/08' This was our 3rd trip to Treasure Lake
and the Overton House is by far the most beautiful.
The views are amazing. The house is so bright and
cheery and very clean. We enjoyed the beach
and the pontoon boat (Thanks to the Isslers). A very
relaxing and much needed family vacation. Treasure
Lake is a real jewel!! P.S. The gift bag of goodies
was a nice touch too :-)

6/08' We had an absolutely wonderful
vacation. We have been coming to DuBois for
vacation (Treasure Lake) for approx. 17 years,
staying at various condos and lake houses and this
has been by fat the nicest place we have stayed,
with al the amenities and cleanliness of your home.
Your place is just beautiful. Your home has
everything needed for a perfect vacation and then
some. It was such a peaceful relaxing vacation.
The view of the lake was beautiful. Even though we
didn't have the best weather, this week having a
place like this to stay made up for it. Thanks
again for the use of your lovely home and for the
nice gift bad with all the extras. We will

12/07' I have been meaning to contact you for weeks.
Our family had a fabulous time at Overton's Landing. The house
was wonderful and met all our needs. We were all impressed at
how completely furnished and equipped it is. Half the kitchen
gadgets I brought never got unpacked because you provided them.
At the end of our stay, everyone agreed that we would like to
meet there again. Personally, I am impressed with the ease and
professionalism of your rental arrangements. Thank you for
sharing your lovely home with us. Gamble's
7/07' I just wanted to take a minute and let you know that we had a wonderful time, again, at your lake home. Everything was perfect, including the weather. You house is the perfect vacation spot, it is such a wonderful thing that it includes all the amenities. Traveling and packing is difficult enough but staying at your place eases the burden. It's wonderful to not need to pack linens and cooking stuff! The men folk were able to play 3 rounds of golf this year, and they absolutely enjoyed the golf course. The public courses at home are always crowded and very rushed unlike the TL courses. It was nice to have had the opportunity to meet you, too. It's always nice to put the face with the voice/writer. I trust that you found the place to be exactly the way it should be after we left. We do our best to leave a place the same, if not better than, the way we found it. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to rent your wonderful home for our yearly family vacation!, Barbara
2/07', Wow! Thank you for letting us rent your beautiful home. My mom cried when she heard we were all meeting in PA to celebrate her birthday... She was speechless when she walked into your home. The kids love "their space" downstairs and we all found the space perfect. We played cards at night and all spent time enjoying the view out the back windows. Waking up on your own to the sun creeping in your room in the morning was priceless. My older brother and his twin girls left Sunday after they went to the sledding hill... From my brothers and I, we would like to thank you for helping us make our Mom's birthday one she will never forget. We hope to be back in September. - The Marsh's, and the Tabor's
2/07', Thank You, Thank You! Your home is lovely! Can't remember when I have felt so comfortable - You truly have thought of everything! We even tried the pellet stove - very cool! Also, went sled riding and swimming all in one day! Kids loved the arcade (xbox). The tweens and teens loved the downstairs! 10/06', Thank you for such a beautiful home to stay in. It was truly a home away from home!! The view was gorgeous. We enjoyed watching the deer snacking on the grass and the colorful leaves on the mountainside across the lake. We also enjoyed the campfires with ghost stories, smores and the coffee. 8/06', Just a note to let you know how much we enjoyed your home at Treasure Lake. Unfortunately, I had to leave a bit earlier than the others, but we had a great mini family reunion. It’s been four years since we have all been together! ..... My two nieces and sister, who are the official cooks, loved the kitchen area. I can’t imagine why anyone would want to cook on vacation, however, my stomach was very glad they did. I think the only ones who put on more weight than myself were the goldfish. Sophia, my two year old great niece, who loves animals, made sure they were fed daily and loved all the dear and ducks and geese which came around each day. The empty lot beside your place had 8 deer grazing in it last night, including two fawns. ..... It was also great to have the computer access. The laptops were busy taking care of business that unfortunately had to be done on vacation! - The Sicheri Family

Thanks for sharing it with us. - Kile Family 7/06', I just wanted to let you know that we all really enjoyed your place! Your house is beautiful! What a fabulous location! We had a wonderful vacation. Having the firepit was absolutely great!!! We made snakes (biscuits on a stick) over the pit every night and roasted hot-dogs & hamburgers and all types of pies. We found that we could buy firewood at the marina store. .... It was awesome to sit by the fire and have the deer come into the yard to feed just a few yards away. .... Thanks again, for sharing your house with us. I trust that you found no problems upon your arrival we did our best to leave it better than we found it. - Walter's Family 7/06', The house was great. Your house is very well equipped for a rental house. We have had some with very little kitchen items and very few amenities. The lake was great. It has plenty of room to roam. The boys liked having the computer. They would use it in the evenings. The movie selection was another plus. It sure beats going out to rent a movie. All in all, we can not complain about anything.
